US - We ship with USPS and DHL, and on average our customers are receiving their packages within 3-7 business days [plus 1-2 days for order processing]. We ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO and military bases, but please allow extra time for delivery. You will receive a tracking number; please keep an eye on it!
International - We ship to over 200 countries internationally. A full list can be found on the country dropdown menu on the checkout page. Average delivery is anywhere from 10-30 business days, depending on your country. We use DHL for most countries and you will receive a tracking number - please ensure your email is entered correctly on checkout. Please note that at times, packages may be held up in customs. Yes, we offer self-serve order modification. After an order is placed, you have a 2-hour window to make any changes or request a cancellation. This option is available on the Order Confirmation page and the “View or Edit Order” button found in your Order Confirmation Email.

Yes, we use a phthalate-free fragrant oil in our signature scent products. If you are looking for fragrance-free products, please see our Fragrance-Free line here or check out our Elixir Oil. It should be noted that we personally picked this scent out of hundreds of options, and loved it so much that we wore it as perfume! During our initial R&D phase, we did a test market with a variety of different scents for our products, and our chosen one was the winner by majority vote. To this day, the scent of our products is one of the many compliments we receive! We hope you love the smell of our products as much as most of our customers have already, however, we do know that scent is such a personal matter. Our product was created for naturally curly hair, but many customers with permed hair have also tried the products and reported great results. Since product testing was done exclusively on naturally curly hair, we can’t guarantee results on permed hair.
We’ve done our best to eliminate as much of the “harsh stuff” as possible and we have many curly-haired beauties with colored-treated hair using and loving our line.
However, if your hair is bleached and or damaged, our products will not miraculously bring your curls back to life. With continued use and caring for your curls, they will become healthier. Keep in mind that it can take years to get your curls back—even with the very best products, patience is key.
We apologize to all of our straight-haired sisters out there, but this one is a hard NO. The products are designed for people who have naturally curly hair and they will not make your hair curly; they will only enhance your own natural pattern.

Using the precision tip applicator, apply the serum to dry hair along the hairline and desired areas of the scalp. Gently massage into the scalp to distribute the product. Do not rinse.

This is not an overnight miracle formula! While the results will become apparent over time, with consistent use, most see results after 90 days.
Lab testing on our Turmeric and Basil active combo have shown incredible results. With these ingredients, some noticed denser, fuller-looking hair as early as 30 days and the most noticeable results were at 90 days. We use Turmeric extract to support healthy hair growth, basil extract to reduce the appearance of thinning hair, and hyaluronic acid to provide deep hydration.
The scalp serum will work perfectly on oil-prone scalp. We formulated the serum to be oil-free and lightweight to ensure that it would effectively hydrate and perform no matter how oily your scalp is. On top of that, the oil-free formula ensures that no scalp conditions (like flaking or irritation) will occur due to excess oil build-up.
While the moisture delivery of the scalp serum helps to maintain and improve overall scalp health, it is NOT meant to be used as a targeted treatment for scalp conditions such as Psoriasis or Seborrheic dermatitis.
The elixir oil is great for creating a moisture barrier on the scalp to prevent moisture loss. Unfortunately for some, excess oil on the scalp can lead to certain scalp issues such as irritation and flaking. Therefore, we opted for a lightweight, oil-free approach with our scalp serum which makes it great for everyone. Using Hyaluronic Acid, it will provide deep, effective hydration to your scalp!
While our formula boasts multiple benefits for skin and nails (including moisturizing, repairing skin, anti-aging, and even reduction of symptoms associated with many skin conditions), we always recommend doing a small patch test to be sure that this formula is right for your skin. To do this, rub a small amount of the oil (1-2 drops) on to the inside of your forearm and rub it in gently. Wait 24-48 hours and check for any reactions. Check with a health care professional if you have pre-existing skin conditions or have had past sensitivities to oil-based products.

All of the oils in our formulation rank 1-3 on the comedogenic spectrum (which ranges from 0-5), so our formula would be considered low-to-moderate. Very few oils are a true “0.” What does this mean? On most skin types, our oil will be found to be non-comedogenic and will not clog pores. In fact, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties in some of the oils in this formula may actually help with various skin conditions, including acne and rosacea! If you have sensitive skin or are concerned about breakouts, please check with a health care professional or dermatologist before use.
The LUS (Love Ur Self) Elixir Oil has no added fragrance or perfume whatsoever! The product is very neutral in scent. Most people who have smelled it agree that it actually has no scent at all.
This oil is free of fragrance and a whole host of nasty chemicals found in many skin and hair care products. You can use this oil safely on your kids’ hair and body, assuming they don’t have any allergies or sensitivities to food-grade oils. The oils are seed-derived. The rosemary oil and vitamin E in our formula are both natural antioxidants which extend the shelf life of our formula and prevent it from going rancid. Your oil will be good for up to 12 months after you have opened it.
A little goes a long way, and won’t leave your hair or skin feeling greasy. This product absorbs very quickly, and does its job very (very) well! You may be tempted to use a lot, but you truly won’t need to! Adjust the quantity depending on what you’re using it for (for example, on your nails, you only need a couple drops, whereas on your legs, you may want to use a few more). Our handy glass dropper allows for accurate application every time, so you don’t over-pour and waste your precious oil!

Not at all! Alcohols found in most perfumes are extremely drying (especially for curly hair types!) so we formulated a hair perfume that was 100% alcohol-free!
Phthalates are harmful chemicals (carcinogens, actually) found in many hair, skin, and other personal care products. Unfortunately, many fragrances used in various products contain phthalates as well. We formulated our hair perfume and all other products in our Love Ur Curls line using a beautiful, phthalate-free fragrant oil. Smells delicious, and is safe for you and your curls as well!
You’ll find that a little goes a long way with this product. 1-2 spritzes should be more than enough to refresh your curls with that Love Ur Curls scent you love so much!
This product was formulated for use on hair only. It contains ZERO alcohol (so as not to dry your precious curls out) so it won’t evaporate off of your skin, like most perfumes do. Spritz this lightly on your hair and enjoy!
Due to the high percentage of fragrance used in this formula (after all, it is hair perfume) we don’t recommend this particular product to be used on kids under the age of 12. If you do decide to use it in your kids’ hair, mist very lightly (i.e. 1 spray only) and take extra care not to get it in their eyes or on skin. Intended to be used on hair only.
